Education & Training Group -  Mission Statement

Education and Training Group (ETG) acts as an information link between the Society, industry and education.

ETG establishes and maintains contact with other training agencies, educational establishments, funding bodies, industry employers, equipment manufacturers, other professional bodies and Society Sponsors.

ETG identifies and fulfils training and professional development needs within the membership, sponsor organisations and media industries in general, either directly or in conjunction with other Society Groups.

ETG maintains an overview of Society educational & training activities, ensuring that the appropriate standards of instruction and presentation are maintained.

ETG manages the Society Accreditation Scheme. It sets and approves accreditation procedures with relevant institutions, identifying potential benefits to industry and the participating institutions and their students
